City Youngsters In Rep Teams

Congratulations to the following players who have been chosen in Tamworth Junior rep sides next season.

Hamish Batley (U16), Tim Paynter & Ryan Hansen (U15) and Lachlan Cooke (U14).

This is fantastic news, especially the selection of leg spinner Lachlan Cooke who showed a lot of promise in his first year in senior cricket this season. That astute judge of cricket skills and ability, Simon Hood, reckons young Lachlan will go a long way with the right support and attention.

Well done to the four players. Work hard during the winter and then your name will be pixels next season on the City website.

Bill North was the winner and the only person to answer the quiz on the day. Matthew Hayden has the top score in ODI for Australia, 181x against New Zealand at Seddon Park on 20/2/2007. Hayden also is the holder of the highest Test score. Well played Billy!
