City Juniors

City United juniors capped a great season in junior club cricket and junior representative cricket with a well attended presentation night held at the Longyard Hotel on Saturday night. Hamish Batley, Pat Dwyer, Daniel Lawrence, Ryan Hansen, Simon Bellamy & Leo Steyn all attended, as well as Simon Hood who was the U/12 rep team coach.

Hamish Batley was runner up in the rep player of the year, taking 23 wickets @8.48 and scoring 281 runs @ 31.22 in the U/14 team. Daniel Lawrence took the bowling aggregate and average for the Under 16s and finished 4th in the rep player of the year award. Rep players earn points on the basis of runs scored and wickets and catches taken.
